Curriculum Vitae
Josef FRITZ received his PhD from the University of Vienna iuris and started his career as a trained banker. His experience comes from both corporations and family businesses in the construction, hotel, tourism, M&A, production, retail, system catering / franchise and real estate sectors.
His extensive knowledge of the supervisory board has resulted from more than a thousand meetings of the supervisory board, advisory board, executive board and foundation, general and general meetings, syndicate meetings and boards, nationally and internationally, over the past 3 decades. Stays in Europe, the USA and Asia shaped him and he also shared his knowledge as a lecturer at the Vienna University of Economics and currently at the Danube University Krems.
He has been a managing partner of BOARD SEARCH GmbH since 2013, is a specialist author, keynote speaker, moderator, organizer of the Supervisory Board forum and initiator of the Supervisory Board Gala, which was held for the first time in 2015 and which honors excellence in the Supervisory Board.
